been hearing this song for quite some time and it was just a few moments ago when i realized how sad the song really was.. aside from the fact that it was named as such - "the saddest song" by the ataris.. and it goes...

it was about 15 years ago when i last saw my father.. and last month i had the chance to talk to him on the phone. he wasn't eager, nor anxious to hear my voice.. neither am i.. well, he told me he's doing fine with his new wife, and 6 yr old girl.. i had a sister! i guess i am not an "only child" after all.. then he told me with absolute certainty that we would see each other soon.. for i am his son, and he is my father.. and i guess for him it was that simple! but what makes him think that being my father guarantees us meeting in the future.. but when? maybe 10, 20 years from now, who knows?.. i dont know.. so does he!

grabe na to! mula pa kninang 5am kumikirot itong tyan ko! ang sakit sakit! mukhang me ulcer na ko ah... tsk tsk! tpos nanlalamig pa ko! waaahhh! im sick and i feel like im on the verge of having fever! prang your an inch away from the edge... pag gumalaw pa ko eh tuluyan na kong lalagnatin.. but still i managed to go to work! |
